Chorus Leadership
Lindsay Chartier, Musical Director
Lindsay joined Note-Ably as Musical Director in January 2023.
To Lindsay, Barbershop is not just a hobby, it's a way of life! Her involvement in Barbershop singing began in 1994, when she sang lead with a mixed youth quartet in Montreal, QC, Canada. She is a proud member of three Barbershop singing societies: Sweet Adelines, Harmony Incorporated, and the Barbershop Harmony Society. In addition to directing Note-Ably, she directs Southwest Sound in Fort Worth, TX (a Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society) and is a former director of the Harmony, Inc. chapter, Montreal City Voices. She serves Sweet Adelines Region 25 as the current Regional Membership Coordinator, is a member of the Regional Faculty, as well as the Regional Education Steering Committee. She is a past recipient of the Region 25 Ark Angel Distinguished Service Award. She also serves on the Harmony, Inc. Philanthropy Committee and is a past Chair of the Association of Harmony Queens. She is a highly sought after coach, educator and partner with Northern Lights Southern Charm Coaching!
Lindsay has seen some success competing at the International level with choruses and quartets. She is a three-time International Quartet Champion in Harmony Inc., a three-time Top Five International Quartet Medalist and a Rising Star Champion in Sweet Adelines. She currently sings bass with Serenade quartet.
In her copious free time and to support her "hobby", Lindsay is employed as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Mitchell International, an Enlyte Company. Lindsay lives in Frisco, TX with her husband, Mark (whom she met through barbershop).
